If you have a lot of web-based email accounts, checking all of them in certain time range will be tedious. In that situation, email notification softwares will work fine and eliminates the need to check for new mails in every account. Here, I review two of them, which are free.
ePrompter is a tiny program that lets you check the emails from 16 email accounts simultaneously. It also downloads the text part of your email if you set to do so. You can also send reply to them saving a copy on the server. You can delete the emails right from the ePrompter without going to the actual email account. It shows you the number of new messages received in every account by a “rotating tray icon” and also by playing sound.
Free online storage -- A review

When I was new to internet, if I find anything new or useful like software, icons, music files, or PDFs, I used to open one of email accounts and send it to another email ID and used as a storage medium. Floppies were there but they are limited to 1.4 MB. This was six years ago.
Now the things have changed and there are number of sites that offer free online storage where you can upload your files, arrange it in folders, create a link and share it with your friends. Find some of those, which are of worth to have and I will start with my favorite ones, Box and Esnips. There are lot of free services, but their restrictions make it useless.
How to download Yahoo! mails into outlook (any email client) for free !!!
Submitted by novice on Tue, 2006-08-29 13:26. emails | Yahoo | ypops
I have come across lot of discussion forums and Yahoo! Answers asking how to download the Yahoo! mails into their favorite email client and there were answers saying that it is a paid service from Yahoo! called Yahoo! Mail Plus and subscribe to that service. Yahoo! Mail Plus is a paid service and costs $19.99/year when I am writing this article.
There are lot of companies, institutions, showrooms, and agencies that use Yahoo! Mail for their official correspondence. Even I see big billboards advertising some local companies with Yahoo! Mail ID as their contact email. I surprise to see that 1% of the cost of that advertisement gives them official domain and email address for a year. Lack of knowledge about web domains and emails and fear about maintenance might be causing this.

Submitted by novice on Thu, 2006-08-24 15:18. messenger | Yahoo Just have gone through a blog, which tells about how to get rid of the ad that is located at the bottom of the Yahoo Messenger window. I have tried it and worked fine for Yahoo Messenger Beta 8, though the article describes the trick for Yahoo Messenger 7.5. No software or patch to install. It’s just a registry hack and any one can do it in 10 seconds.
Click “Start” and then click “Run,” type “regedit” and hit enter to open Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\YUrl, create a string named “Messenger Ad” and enter “*” (asterisk)as the value for that string.
